Happy New Year!

Winter break has been pretty nice so far. I've been spending a lot of time with my friends. Jackie, Ryan, and I have been watching some interesting anime. I doubt I would have ever seen them if Jackie didn't show them to me, but I'm glad she did. Some of the episodes are pretty cool. Justin also came over for a few days to go to the Packers vs. Lions game this past Sunday with me. The game itself was pretty boring since it was meaningless to the Packers. After they were up 21-3, or something like that, Favre and the starters were pulled and the game became boring.

It's kind of weird thinking this is the last time that a lot of us will be "living" in Green Bay or at least at home. I guess a lot probably won't change since most of us will probably come back to visit parents during holidays, but it's still odd thinking about it.

I usually don't really make any New Year's resolutions, but there are a few things I'm looking forward to doing in 2008.

1. Graduating. I'm really looking forward to ending school. I've had my fun and would like to start my life. I'll just have to make sure to enjoy my last semester as much as I can.

2. Moving. I've been looking at possibly buying a condominium instead of renting when I move back to MN. I'm really looking forward to this because it will make things seem more like home instead of a large building where a bunch of other people also live. This obviously is going to require more research and time as it gets closer.

3. Meeting new people. I don't really know that many people in Rochester. Well, I guess I "know" plenty of them but I only am really friends with three or four people. It would be nice to be able to meet people there who have some common interests with me.

4. Bike. I'm hoping to find a place in MN that is near the bike trail that I normally use or at least near something like it. I would love to be able to hop right on the trail.

5. Learn guitar. Mike, my older brother, gave me an acoustic guitar for Christmas so I'd like to learn that this year. So far it's been a mixture of being fairly easy to learn and physically impossible to make my hand do certain things. I think it'll be something fun to try.

I'm sure 2008 will be an interesting year and hopefully a good one too.
