Here's Your Post pt 2
2/26/2005
Okay, okay I'm updating. These past two weeks have been very busy.
The week after my last post was very full. My parents came up to visit, my birthday, and four tests. One of those tests was in Discrete Structures, which seems to get harder every day. Thankfully I did well in all of the tests except for Discrete, because I didn't get it back yet.
The following week was the Career Fair at school. After being nervous all weekend and all day Monday, it finally came on Tuesday. I spent about 3 hours there, mostly waiting in lines, but I ended up talking with about 11 companies about internships. They all seemed very nice so it was pretty hard to tell if they liked me or not. Later that night is when most companies called for interviews and I got one! Now I'm not sure if it's a good idea to post the company name on here or not, so if you really want to know who the interview was with then you can contact me. Anyway, the interview was pretty good and afterwards I finally got a chance to relax because I had been so worried about it all week.
I have one week left up here and then we have spring break. We get March 5-13 off. Unfortunately, I have to wait until 5ish on Friday to leave because I have some homework due in that class and you never know what the teacher is going to do.
That's all for now, I'll try to update more often.

Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been trying to do as much homework as I can so I can enjoy this weekend with my parents. I still have a test on Monday though, which sucks.
This week is also Michigan Tech's Winter Carnival! Wednesday everyone went outside and built snow statues and had fun. Some student groups create "one-nighter" statues which have to be made from 4PM Wednesday to Thursday morning. Of course, I have pictures of most of the completed statues that are on the main campus. I also labeled which ones that won for each category (that I know of).
Check out the pictures!
As for other things, there isn't much new. As I mentioned already, my parents are coming up to see me and the snow statues this weekend. Besides seeing my family, it means I actually get to eat normaly food for a few days.
We finally have a program due in one of my computer science classes. After struggling with part of it for a long time I realized how simple it was. I figured it out in 15 minutes one morning by writing how I plan to do it on a piece of paper. That seems to work pretty well - I should do it more often.
Oh yea, check out this webcam. Is it legal? Who really knows. Everyone I've shown it to thinks it is really strange. They even have a chat, but it's offline right now.
