Update

Not much new since my last post. Work is still going pretty well and everything else is okay. Another intern and I were supposed to move furniture to another office last week but it keeps getting pushed back. It looks like we'll finally do it tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be too hot out.

Oh ya, call my cell phone more often. I need to use up more minutes.

Switching to Linux hasn't been all that hard so far, except for using VMWare and Windows. I tried a LOT to use one of my recovery CDs to install Windows XP using some methods I found online, but none of them worked. I just don't like how I paid for the license for Windows and I can't even get the install disc. I ended up having to install an older version of Windows and then upgrade from it using my upgrade CD. Oh ya, that didn't work the first 3 times I tried that either. It's finally working though.

Edit: Check the main page too. I've updated information about Grade Tracker.
What's new?

Yea, I know I haven't been posting. I guess I haven't really wanted to put anything in here for a while. I'll try and start it back up more regularly now.

Work is going very well. I enjoy working on the projects I'm assigned and I get along pretty well with my co-workers. The day goes by pretty quickly when I have things to do and sometimes the weekends just feel boring now because I don't have a task assigned to me.

Lately I've been biking more than I have in a long time. After my first week of being assigned projects at work I didn't really feel like using the computer that much so I was trying to find other things to do.

This past week I've been planning a switch from Windows to Linux. Today I finally did a good chunk of it. I formatted and gave Windows a small 30gb partition and Linux got a large 120gb partition. I've decided to try this out and see how it goes. I will be using VMWare for Windows programs that I need to have or really want to have (Napster, Microsoft Office). If everything is still good in a month (when VMWare's trial runs out) I will probably end up buying a copy of it. I will probably also have to buy a new tv card that works with Linux, but that can wait until closer to school time.
